The native wild field-rose or Rós stíleach , with its delicate pink petals, dots the Irish hedgerows in early summer. In folklore they are symbolic of untamed natural beauty, love, and the eternal cycle of life. Rose quartz is a stunning gemstone that holds similar symbolism, and is believed harness the powers of unconditional love, peace and calm.
