Ireland’s untamed hedgerows, and the wildflowers that speckle the patchwork of fields were revered and respected by the indigenous people. They formed an integral part of local folklore, often used in herbal remedies, intertwined into regional customs, and otherworldly tales involving the Aos Sídhe or fairy folk.

The Maidens of Folklore collection is inspired by the power of the natural world and the elemental forces that bind us to it.

'Maiden of the Dewdrops’

The dewdrop earring collection is inspired by glistening morning dew resting upon the bowing ferns of the forest, or the delicate rose petals at daybreak. You can choose from the following gemstones: (by order of the photos)

• Amethyst - purple (4mm)

• Green Onyx - green (6mm)

• Labradorite - spectrum of grey, blues, and greens (6mm)

• Citrine - golden yellow (6mm)

• Rainbow Moonstone - spectrum of white, blue, purple (6mm)

• Prehnite - very pale sage green (6mm)

The softly faceted droplets are fair trade sourced and set within handcrafted 14k gold filled ear posts.

Each pair is a completely one-of-a-kind creation.

MATERIALS:

– Earrings have a diameter of 6mm, and a petite 4 mm in diameter for the amethyst.
– Each genuine gemstone is set within a 14K gold filled stud ear post with 14K gold filled butterfly backs.
