'The Fairy of Midsummer' - Fine Silver Earrings

€65.00

A stunning foraged find in the form of a dainty feverfew daisy, now yours to keep and cherish for a lifetime. In Celtic tradition, feverfew or midsummer daisy was traditionally used to treat ailments particularly for women. Its healing properties made it an essential and beautiful addition to cottage gardens, and is still used today in herbal medicine. The feverfew daisy represents healing and protection from harm.

The feverfew daisy is a direct replica of a tiny real feverfew grown in the sun filled Lost Forest garden. It has been entirely handcrafted by myself using a handmade mold, and fashioned by hand in recycled eco- friendly 99.9% fine silver. The silver daisy retains its beautiful form and idiosyncrasies that make it truly unique, and wonderfully tactile.

The earrings have been expertly burnished and polished by hand to create a stunning sparkle. The back of the earrings are undecorated and shaped flat.
